Gray whale tours are officially underway in Edmonds!

On Feb 14, passengers and crew were treated to glorious views of the T124A2 orcas around Holmes Harbor, giving guests a chance to capture some spectacular photos and videos 😍 On Feb 15, we spent time watching three gray whales — CRC-2446 (Azulão), CRC-2362 (Thidwick), and CRC-2440 (Tahoma) — surfacing around Hat Island. A magical first weekend of tours, for sure!

On Feb 18, passengers aboard the Swiftsure were treated to another 3-whale day 🙌 After only five minutes of searching, Captain Tony spotted some spouting action around Hat Island that turned out to be CRC-531 (Gretchen) and CRC-2362 (Thidwick) traveling together! Guests and crew were awed by the slow-motion beauty of these whales, and even got to see a few flukes. Before heading out, an eagle-eyed passenger spotted a third gray whale on the Snohomish River Delta, CRC-2440 (Tahoma) — a great trip all-around!

P.S., gray whale tours from Port Townsend begin in less than 10 days 🎉 If you want to hop aboard a gray whale tour from Edmonds or Port Townsend, you can make a booking on our website, HERE, or by giving us a call at 360-385-5288. We hope to see you on the water!
