Another T-Party! Even though it’s Gray Whale season, we’ve had a terrific early season run of seeing groups of Bigg’s Orcas hanging out together. Passengers on our March 26, 2026 Edmonds Gray Whale tour were treated to a fun gathering of Bigg’s (transient) Orcas shortly after leaving the dock. The T36, T99, and T65A families had gathered south of Edmonds and seemed to be having a grand time together.
We then traveled to Hat Island and passengers were able to see an old school Sounder Gray Whale – CRC-396. This female gray was first sighted in 1999, but has not been seen in Puget Sound since 2009! Shortly before heading back to Edmonds, we also spied CRC-2362.
A chilly, but gorgeous day on the water.
