We have been seeing a lot of one of our favorite humpback whales, “Two Spot”,  lately!  His research ID numbers are CRC16017 , and CS631.  We tend to find him very close to Edmonds in an area between Edmonds, Kingston, Possession Point (Whidbey Island), and Point no Point on the Kitsap Peninsula.  This has been great because all of these areas are very close to our dock in Edmonds, and within reach for our boats coming out of Port Townsend.  On many occasions we find him within minutes of leaving the dock in the beginning of the trip or when we are returning to the dock at the end of our day.  Here are a few photographs from a particularly exciting encounter with Two Spot from Chilkat Express when he decided to breach about 5 times for us on October 8 2017!  Naturalist, Bart Rulon
