Puget Sound Express had a fantastic experience with a superpod of transient killer whales on November 24 2018 near the border of Canada. Multiple families of these “marine mammal eating” orcas were traveling together including the T35A pod, T38A pod, T49A pod, T123 pod, and some exotic transients normally seen off the coast of California including the CA172 pod, CA173 pod, and CA166! It was an amazing sight to see so many orcas together having a huge party! We saw breach after breach during our visit with them, and the orcas were rolling over top of each other at times. Whenever multiple pods get together like this the likelihood of incredible action goes way up! Here is a small sample of what saw on this epic trip! Naturalist Bart Rulon
