Many people don’t know that we often see killer whales near Seattle, in Puget Sound. In fact these sightings are becoming more and more common, especially since the transient killer whales have plenty to eat in the area (seals, sea lions, and porpoise). Our departures from Edmonds are ideal when the whales are in the sound, and we are often the only whale watching company that can reach them! Here are some photos from our experience with the T46pod, and T122 on Saturday, August 24, before and after they caught a harbor porpoise in Elliot Bay!  The moment of impact was the female coming out of the water upside down!  Notice some obvious Seattle icons in the background, like the Space Needle, and Century Link Field.  Thanks for the awesome line up Capt.
