It’s just about time for Gray Whale season!
We’re using January and February to spruce up and maintain our whale watching boats – but once March arrives, we’ll be heading out for guaranteed gray whale watching tours in both Edmonds and Port Townsend.
2018 Gray Whale Tours will run March 10-April 26. Tours departing from Port Townsend begin at 10am, and last 3-4 hours. Tours departing from Edmonds begin at 9:30am and 1pm, and last 2.5 hours.
The gray whale tours allow us to spend time with migrating gray whales, traveling from the southern waters north to Alaska. In March and April they pass through the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Puget Sound, providing an excellent opportunity to visit and learn about these whales.
