Whale Watch Report for 7/23: Orca Breath

Captain Pete Hanke tells us about the magic of fog, and how it provides a different type of whale watching experience.

Today, the fog is lifting a bit, and giving us a great view of Smith Island, which has a bald eagle nest right on the beach. The chick is just about ready to fly off to the Cascade Mountains for the winter. This is a picture of Olympus approaching the spit.
