Things to Know

How to Prepare
While the boats have indoor seating and the cabins are heated, you will want to bring several important items to make your experience comfortable: Passengers on the Glacier Spirit Where sensible, non-slip shoes, and bring a sweater, windbreaker, hat, gloves, sunglasses, and hopefully suntan lotion. Most importantly don't forget the camera and binoculars!

Day of Departure
On the day of your departure, plan to arrive thirty minutes prior. You may purchase your ticket with whatever form of payment you desire. Parking is free, and the attendant at the ticket office will provide you with instructions on where to park. Boarding begins fifteen minutes prior to departure.

Glacier Spirit and plane Once on board, an attendant will show you to your seat. Every day our world famous coffee cake is baked on board, and served soon after departure. So be ready to be offered a large slice of this wonderful delight fresh from the oven.

Stand By
On the departure day there is always a stand-by list maintained. If you wish to arrive without a reservation, simply inform the attendant you wish to be placed on the stand-by list. If there is space available, your name will be called just prior to departure and you're off!
