Congratulations on making a reservation with Best Western Bainbridge Island Suites!

One of the most popular activities for visitors to the Kitsap/Olympic Peninsula is whale watching. The waters in between Port Townsend and San Juan Island are home to a group of orcas – or killer whales – called “The Southern Residents.” Visiting these creatures and watching them in the wild is a special treat – and a visitor favorite! Depending on the time of year, we may also see humpback whales, minke whales or even gray whales.

“This was the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen! What a fun fun day – thanks to Pete and Sarah for a great time on the water.” – Kate
