Autumn Whale Watching in Port Townsend

Sure, the kids may be back in school, but one of the best-kept secrets of life in the Pacific Northwest are the months of September and October. The weather is glorious, the light is great (photographers take note!) and everyone is a bit more relaxed after the rush of trying to get those summer vacations finished!

What you might not know is that September and October are some of the best months to go whale watching from Port Townsend. The Southern Resident orcas are nearby and they are often joined by other wildlife, which we see on our day-long  trips to and from Friday Harbor on San Juan Island on the Glacier Spirit.

If you are looking for an outstanding and relaxed cruise in Puget Sound – now is your time. Give us a call or reserve your trip online.
