2017 Gray Whale Watching Season Now Underway

Gray whale watching season is here!

Daily tours from Port Townsend (10am departures) and Edmonds (10am & 1pm departures) start on Saturday, March 11 and run through April 27.

See Patch (pictured above) and others as they come to feed. Port Townsend tours are 3-4 hours; Edmonds tours are 2 hours – and we guarantee you’ll see whales or your next trip is free.

Each spring, majestic gray whales migrate from the southern waters north to Alaska. In March and April they pass through the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Puget Sound, providing an excellent opportunity to visit and learn about these whales.
